The Chip!

We had our office 'summer afternoon out' at The Ubiquitous Chip in Glasgow's west end. I have always wanted to eat at The Chip but my wife has never fancied it. Have had drinks upstairs but never any food. I wasn't disappointed by it. Lovely selection of breads, a beetroot and honey soup amuse-bouche that was a nice surprise and tasted amazing. Venison Haggis to start and then Fillet steak with a brown shrimp and chilli butter sauce. As tempting as it was, I reisted the dessert....but did have a bit of my colleagues chocolate cake!
