Shadows

A glimpse of the house and grounds of Port Lympne mansion where we stayed last night. From this terrace you can see the sea at Hythe on the Kent coast and on a very clear day France can be seen.

The weather was far better today with some sunshine and no wind. We walked around the reserve again and saw more animals than yesterday. Hopefully some of these will eventually be returned to protective areas of the wild in their native countries. The Aspinall Foundation has a very successful reintroduction programme. If it did not we would not be spending time there as the concept of keeping animals for public gaze is not one that I agree with. www.aspinallfoundation.org

It is shocking that through the evils of mankind so many animals face extinction .
