Teething Toy

Archie's having a bad day today. For those who follow his adventures regularly, you'll know he's had real problems with his baby teeth falling out and the new ones coming in.

Today, one of his back teeth has come out leaving a big bloody hole, the one on the opposite side is also wobbly. Also, one of his large canine teeth at the front is discoloured (it has died) and is wobbly and about to come out.

So, all in all, he's not having a good day. He's had all his medicine and he's still sore. We bought him this baby teething toy, which is filled with gel we can freeze for him to chew on. He has lots of toys like this, but it's good to have variety.

Another thing we've tried (and stick with me, I know it sounds weird), is frozen camomile tea ice cubes. I read here that they help puppies with the teething process. He seems to like them, and after he's had one he seems a little bit more content.

Hoping all these bloomin' milk teeth come out NOW so he can start enjoying himself without the pain!
