Shades of Raspberry

Raspberry's ruddy ticked Abyssinian fur comes in many warm shades. The proper term for her type of fur coloration is agouti, where each hair displays alternating bands of light and dark. The black paintbrush tip of her tail is a lovely touch in contrast to all the sienna browns and golden lights in her fur coat. She sheds more than any other cat we have ever had, so we wear her coat often as well.


For the Record,
This day came in sunny and warm. Boston broke a February temperature record yesterday, 68 degrees F/20 degrees C, lovely, but so unusual.


All hands anxious, an everyday feeling now.
