Lambs' tails

Dingle-dangle catkins,
lemon lambs' tails;
Dingle-dangle, hanging on
despite the recent gales.

Did some gardening today - with no coat on. Deadheaded the hydrangeas now that we're most likely past any heavy frosts (not that we had many down here). Picked up broken twigs that the storms left behind. Lovely to enjoy a wind-free day, though I think more 50mph winds are heading our way.
