Cones
Went to see an exhibition on Scott at the Natural History Museum. Great exhibition. It showed how much science they did. Also had no idea about the 6 guys who went on the northern party who couldn't be picked up by Terra Nova due to the ice and so had to live in an ice cave for 6 months over the winter. They then walked back to the main camp. Incredible endurance and survival. There are some great photographs of the expedition. Interesting how about a hundred years later they still stand up and are high enough quality to be blown up to life size. I wonder how may blips will be around in one hundred years...
The cones were hanging outside the V & A entrance, I spotted them while waiting for Mrs H. No idea what they are about but a nice abstract.
