Vice Regal

I know!!  Such a treat today.  I couldn't believe it when THEY said we was going to the Park.  At 2 o'clock in the afternoon.  I know!!

Something to do with the light.  I didn't quite understand that bit. The sun was out, surely that's all the light you need.  But no! It has to be a very special kind of light, so I suggested a torch, but was told not to be so silly.  Sigh - I can't win.

Anyway it was ever so exciting, on account of we wented to a place called Old Government House.  Not New Government House, but Old Government House.  Apparently it's better than the new one - wherever that is.

And they did take lots and lots of pictures and none of them was good enough because of that pesky light.

So we get to go back again another day - possibly early in the morning, because the light will be right.  It had better be, that's all I will say on that subject.

And it got even nicer - because after that we wented for a walk around the Lake and we had the best time.

Possibly the best day in my entire life - which is why I am laughing in this picture.
