Blue in a Field of Gold

Saw this flower in the wheat today.

I went by a number of field with the wheat being harvested and I guess this field must due a visit from the combine soon.

Archaeological analysis of wild emmer indicates that it was first cultivated in northern Jordan dating back as far as 9600 BC. It took until 3000 BC before wheat reached England and Scandinavia.

My car must have morphed into a DeLorean and me into Marty McFly this morning. I was transported forward a few months; I heard an advert of the radio and the backing song was We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Fortunately I was transported back to the right time, place and car when I put my iPod on; phew.
