Golden-hooded Tanager

Today's bird is the Golden-hooded Tanager. Isn't he pretty?

We have moved to a place called Rio Celeste at the base of Tenorio Volcano (I think that's its name, but don't quote me). Jungly rainforest. We have to watch out for scary snakes when we walk through the jungle! Eek.
Fer de Lance and Eyelash Pit Viper are the two we don't want to encounter. Although most of us would like to actually see them.
