Dendrochronology

We have been learning a little about dendrochronology in school, which is dating trees by their rings. This is a huge tree 'cookie' or disc at Dalkeith Country park. It's larger than Wee B's arm span. Wee B and I have counted the rings several times but come up with a different number each time!
I thought this might fit with this week's WBC, history.
