ThingsThat Go Bump In The Night

I woke this morning to find that the Amaryllis had committed suicide. I think it got a bit headstrong after featuring on Blip and getting so many nice comments, considered its pot too downmarket and just decided enough's enough, I'm out of here.

Immediately I attempted resuscitation, bunged it back in its pot and promised it a larger vessel if it can hang on for a day or so. One of the blooms seems to have accepted my offer but three are determined to leave; the bud is too young to vote so I hope will mature in due course.
