Pride and joy

The hardest thing since moving to Cumbria has been to get a fridge freezer delivered. Attempt number one failed as the delivery company refused to unbox it (in case they damaged it) and as a consequence it wouldn't fit through the door. It went back and was refunded. Attempt number two never arrived as the delivery company used 10 tonne lorries that wouldn't even fit down the lane. It also went back and was refunded. Attempt number three failed as the company point blank refused to deliver to Cumbria. Finally at the fourth time of asking my fridge freezer was successfully delivered and installed. In celebration I have spent the afternoon cooking and have filled it with chilli con carne, chilli non carne, lentil ragu, lamb biryani and goulash. I might add chicken casserole to the list tomorrow.
