Upton Manor Farm

The centre of this photo is Upton the farm that I grew up on, it looks like a lot of it has been in corn, there is a big dairy there too.this is taken from Eggardon Hill on the old Roman Road.
I was born here and spent all my childhood riding my pony around this area and helping Dad on the farm.
Our house was a thatched Dorset Long House with some beautiful old barns and buildings, most have been converted to dwellings now, even the old piggery which is amusing!
Things change sad.
Today my youngest son Tom who is working in London has come down to Dorset to see us and we did a drive around to show him where I was born, tomorrow we go back to Langdon where Rob was born, nostalgia!
We live in NZ now.
