Snow showers
We were lucky and did nt see Storm Doris. We had a few show showers that covered everywhere white for a short while. The birds were extra hungry and lining up on the branches ready for a feed. The siskins have now more than doubled in numbers and have to be the messiest eaters.
While most places in the UK saw a weather bomb this week we had a real one on the beach in Rosemarkie. It was found near the first cave by one of my 'old' Brownies and her brother. It was reported and a controlled explosion by the Explosive Ordnance Disposable Team took place on Wednesday afternoon. It turned out to be a WW II mortar which
still had some explosive still present.
