Doris Day!

This was the scene when I opened the curtains this morning. Sure enough, Storm Doris was wreaking havoc with the morning traffic, but I think we got off fairly lightly compared to other areas.

Fortunately the snow had stopped falling by mid-morning, so I was able to go out and clear my car of the several inches that were covering it before I had to drive to Drymen to pick up a lift to an elderly ex-neighbour's funeral.

By the time I was driving home again in the late afternoon the roads were clear, although the snow is still lying in the fields and on the verges - see extra.
