A mystery . . .

. . . we've known we have a mouse for a bit now, the trusty (cheap) humane trap has been deployed but without success . . until last night.

The idea is simple - A ramp up to the top of the beer bucket has a ruler delicately balanced over the bucket, and as bait peanut butter right at the end of it.

The mystery is why after a week with nothing we get three in one night? We decided what must have happened was the first one tumbled in on the ruler, and the other two thought it looked such great fun they just jumped in?!  So anyway all three are now safely re-homed in the local woods.
