Today started with a service with 400 windswept and soggy children in Shenfield, caught in storm Doris, on their way to school. This is a brilliant school with consistently inspirational insights from children. It's clear the teachers do much to promote thinking, questioning and expression. Then on to a meeting with a John (pictured) discussing "generosity" and all that we might do to recognise, encourage, learn from and promote generosity in all it's forms. And then on to the next instalment of meetings on the Connect 120 project, a great initiative looking to employ a leader of schools workers in schools along the A120 corridor. Today's extra, the church before children arrive (we eventually decamped to the school to avoid getting even wetter).
