First blossom!

At the top of the drive! Very exciting!! I wish there was a bit of sunshine to show it off!  
We went to a lunchtime "House Blessing" where the vicar blessed each room - followed by drinks and delicious nibbles - quite a lot of people there. The house was freshly decorated and carpeted - my husband dropped a few crumbs while munching - but fortunately a visiting labrador came along and hoovered them up!!
In the evening I went to village Garden Club, where the Head Gardener from Stourhead gave a brilliant talk with beautiful pictures. He was very enthusiastic and passionate about his work. In addition to his job, he also has worked on BBC Gardners' World. He told us that it takes 7 hours to make 6 minutes of the programme!!
