Waiting for Doris
I did manage to get out today, but it was so gusty, I had to find somewhere sheltered to leave the car as when I stopped in some of my usual places, it was rocking alarmingly in the wind. I dread to think what will happen when Doris arrives. There were very few birds around on the moorland fringes. I did see a small flock of Fieldfare being buffeted, and some Lapwings over the pastures.
This Jackdaw's friend flew off with nearly a full fatball this morning. Tomorrow, all footballs go in the cage feeder!
