Stolen!

I pinched this book from my brother about 65 years ago and wrote my name and address in it to emphasise possession. It has moved house ten times and finally I have read it but I had to persuade the Book Group to take it as a "classic" choice which then guaranteed my attention.
Some claim it to be the first English novel (I think Don Quixote beats it) and I knew about the footprint in the sand and Man Friday but the rest of it took me by surprise. Want to know more? I guess you'll just have to bite the bullet like me and read it!
