Dust

My long serving remote release broke the other day.  Things just don’t last – I only bought it in 1991 to use with my EOS600 film camera.  It had gone through a number of modifications to work with my D-SLRs but the switch itself finally disintegrated.
 
The replacement turned up today, so of course I had to try it out.  The unicorn I decided to photograph, using my 100mm macro lens, is actually a pen.  But look at the dust on the unicorn – I am appalled - I only dusted the other day.
 
I think in future I’ll only take close-ups in other people’s houses ;-)
