It is Friday!
Through the ingenuity of another blipper this week you have an insight into what happens at Burgundy's every Thursday Night Willoughby sneakily blipped me at work and this sketch is the outcome. It is of Jim Collins on awesome alto sax and Freddie Garner with his incredible bebop fingers on keyboards. And you can see the live. The other two in the Freddie Garner Quartet were Mike Lediard from Huddersfield on drums and Stewart Riley on bass.
It would take too long to explain how potatoes change hands at Burgundy's - its just one of the many things that take place here every thursday.
And Ted entertained us with quotes from Radio 4's "I am sorry I haven't a clue". Some I could repeat here but most not. Postcard from William Wordsworth to hi sister "Dear Dorothy; What rhymes with Tintern Abbey"
And quite exceptionally the top raffle prize disappeared last night but quickly sorted by Inspectoe Currington.
