Paper Airplane

I know, I know, it is maybe a little bit childish, but nevertheless this is taken very seriously. The daily Paper Airplane Flight Simulator Contest. Started a few weeks ago it has become daily routine at 18:00 at the bridge. You are allowed to fly all kinds of designs as longs as they are made of paper. One mate already cheated by searching Google to find the best design on the internet and this is what he found: Best Plane in the World
The record was set already a few weeks ago by our Chief Engineer and no one ever dreamed of breaking his time of 12,28 seconds needed to fly from the bridge wing to the water surface. Until our trainee Michael (left on this picture) came up with a ridiculous design which shattered the old record by one and a half seconds. Formal record now is 13.01 seconds. Only by following the old 'Trial and Error' procedure; no design, no plan, no theory, just try.
