Family History

My Dad turned 70 at the weekend and one of my Mum's gifts to him was this montage of photos from his childhood and of his parents/ grandparents before he was born. There are also a couple from when my Mum and Dad were teenagers.

My Dad's parents and grandparents all died when he was very young so it is difficult to know who all of the individuals are in the pictures as he's never had the opportunity to look through them with someone who knows. It's very sad to think that everyone in this photo, apart from my parents, are all gone now.

It is a lovely gift and we all enjoyed looking at the photos together and noting the family resemblances.
