Sad pile of bits

This rather sad pile of bits is our tumble dryer. The motor capacitor has blown and the whole thing has to be stripped down and drum removed just to get at it. Now waiting for part.
What did we do before youtube videos? I'd have never figured out how to do this without breaking it. Cost of part £14. Will it ever work again?
