Can you guess where we are?

On our way to Bath we just had to stop off at Stonehenge - it was the first time for me and the kids! 
I have to admit that I was more impressed than I thought I would be as English Heritage have done a great job transforming the area, giving it a sense of context and dignity. We all enjoyed the exhibition and the reconstructed Neolithic houses and we had a good go at trying to pull one of the stones (not one of the real ones!) to get a sense of how heavy they are.

I love the photo of us above in our wooly Christmas hats - we got some attention from other tourists!

From here it was onto Bath. Once we checked in to our hotel we had time to have an explore and visited the Roman Baths and the Christmas markets which were fabulous!
