February shopper

The warmer February weather has apparently woken an old friend underground. He's busy re-stocking his pantry this morning. Selecting some of the biggest peanuts first.

I have a fun day planned, a gathering of old friends for good conversation, fun and lunch. We all worked together in our early twenties at a local Camp Fire Camp, for young girls,  Camp Kiwanee . We've been friend since. Unfortunately, two in the extra photo won't be able to be there( black dress & gray sweater).  They are home in Vermont and California. The extra photo is from our wedding reception party at the James Library back in 2013. In our typical silly manner, we were reprising an old camp song from a long ago counselor show. We're still very young at heart even if we are pushing 70...

This day came in frosty, but with more warming temps, melting the snow.

All hands wary.
