Camouflage

This post-box stands on the brow of a hill at a cross-roads along the Lorton Valley. I have passed it so many times without noticing, but today it caught my eye. I love the contrast of the shiny, deep green leaves set against the bright red of the box, and the fact that this ivy is allowed to grow with such abandon. The slot is only just open!  Collections take place on Mondays to Fridays at 3.15pm and Saturdays at 8.30am.
