ME: Tie the ribbons on the chairs
EMERSON: Untie the ribbons on the chairs
REPEAT.

Dear Diary,

I always put these chair covers on in the Spring, much to Emerson's delight.  He will roll around from chair to chair untying the ribbons that hold them on.  No sooner do I re-tie them than he is at it again...such sport!  Small price to pay to keep the little fellow entertained.

It is wonderful not to have to shovel snow every day!  This week they are predicting temperatures in the 50'sF and rain.  I'll take it.  I even managed to drive up to North Conway, New Hampshire yesterday just to get out of the house.  It was nice not to have to wear heavy boots.

Oh dear, looks like I need to go tie some ribbons again...
