I took this picture of Pen-y-Ghent from the train travelling south from Carlisle to Settle, 2 years ago today. Google just reminded me.

A day off work, travelling up and down the line enjoying scenery, with my son, his granddad, a game of cards and plenty of snacks.

The Yorkshire Dales is one of my favourite places to visit, as was there again last Thursday....see Denthead Viaduct.
