MonoMonday: Love your pet

I do have the parents' permission to portray my grandson as a pet. It was either him, or the wooden animals in the extra. We used to have a dog, an Australian Shepherd mix that was the best dog to have here on the farm. He lived to a ripe old age, and we opted to not have another one. We had many cats over the years. Then after the last one died, we opted to not have a cat either. I had gotten more and more into making this place inviting to birds and wildlife, and cats were not useful for this purpose.
So Abel it is. He was playing with a baby doll in the sweetest way today.
