Family Day stat holiday in Ontario

Unfortunately federal employees have to work! It was really eerie today, nobody in the downtown core, everything closed except the big Eaton Shopping Centre (which is a bit of a walk). I was very busy so the day flew by; i did a quick power walk to the mall over the lunch break. I arrived to work to find 2 homemade mince tarts from my colleague's mom & 2 homemade brioche from another friend. How lucky am i? Very quiet as these photos show. No one on the first train this morning, i could read my book in peace and not fight for a good seat. The picture of the train shows no one on the platform and the Canada geese flying north, which is a good signs meaning winter is almost over!
