Serendipity

At the end of my road there is a charity shop, but I rarely get the opportunity to visit as it is only open Monday to Friday.
Last week, however, I had to pop home at lunchtime, and as I noticed I'd just missed a tram back to the office, I went in for a quick browse. I noticed two display cabinets, which I immediately thought of for hat displays, and took pictures to share with M. Over the weekend.
I noticed they were both still on display today as I went for the tram, so did a mad dash back at lunchtime and found that the one he thought would be the best had been reduced by 50%. The lady gave me a number for the furniture delivery company, and as I walked home tonight, saw the gentleman filling up the delivery van, and as I only live practically next door to the shop, he delivered it there and then.
I'm now playing with some battery operated LED lights which I picked up in Poland, and they seem so successful, I think I will have to try and get some more.
So all in all, quite successful.... if only my next audit were to be the same
