Old Yards of Kendal No. 5

Typical of the large number of old Yards in Kendal. This is Berry's Yard. Typical weather too.
The arch at the far end goes into Finkle Street. Known as Fynkel Street in 1504, the name is Scandinavian in origin and means a crook or elbow.
