Farewell Koh Libong, Hello Again Koh Lanta

Thailand 2017, Day 31
We bade a sad farewell to Koh Libong today, probably our favourite island of all those that we have visited to date in Thailand.  I appreciate that it's not everyone's cup of lemon iced tea, and a Swedish couple that we met said that they had found it "boring". However, they hadn't even visited any of the three main villages, and were staying at "The Flash Place".
We had originally intended to travel further south to another group of islands, but because of my skin problems on the second week of our trip, we were a few days behind our estimated schedule, so decided that Libong would be as far south as we would venture on this adventure.
I went along to say "Adieu" to my kingfishers, and one virtually followed me along the creek. I also spotted a couple of dogs on the far side of the bank, and the one in the background of this shot looks as if he's also kingfisher-spotting.
We went on a long-tailed boat to a little jetty on the mainland, and from there caught a ferry that was travelling up from Langkawi in Malaysia. It stopped at several islands before we reached Koh Lanta, where we jumped ship.
At Lanta, we stayed at the same place that we had been to just over 2 weeks ago, where they were looking after our large rucksack. They had also very kindly made a reservation for us at The Red Snapper - a restaurant that we had thoroughly enjoyed on our last visit. it did not let us down - another fantastic meal, then an early night, as we have tickets on the 8:30 am ferry tomorrow back to Koh Jum.
My extra must be the ugliest cat I have ever seen, spotted not far from the pier in Koh Lanta.
