New lens!

Got a new lens for my Sony A77mk2 - a 30mm f2.8 Macro, so I tried it out on the flowers in the garden this morning. This is full-frame, not cropped or enhanced, of the now fully open Hellebore blipped on 3rd February. I do have a macro lens but it is 105mm and I find it heavy to keep steady hand-held - this is much lighter - and less expensive . Will not be any use for butterflies - macro focus is from 5 to 6 inches which means the front of the lens is only about 2 inches from the subject - but fine for flowers. Centre of a Pansy in 'extras'
