Wind

Today we did a tour of the centre of the island and over to the west coast. the weather was very hot with a sandy wind blowing from the coast of Africa called the Calima. The wind was whipping the spray up from the sea surface.
The island is beautiful - very arid but stunning, we visited goat cheese farms, Aloe Vera plantations, wonderful churches and this beach which had an amazing cave formation - the extras show the sand in the air and the cave.
