CHICKADEE

Had a very lazy day today.  Did some ironing and sorted through some old paperwork but that's about it.  

The real birds were being uncooperative and I couldn't get a good shot so here you have a chickadee which is on a little balsam pillow. The label says " Our balsam pillows are designed and created by Maine people.  Traditionally given as a sign of friendship balsam products make wonderful gifts and remembrances ".  I received my pillow as a Christmas gift from a blip friend. ( the lady I will be visiting in September ) It looks good - and smells wonderful too.  A gift to treasure.

Neil and his girlfriend Rachael are back home after a busy weekend.  They went to an engagement party yesterday.  Rachael has been asked to be bridesmaid at the wedding.  She is thrilled about that.
