This is Bristol!

A wee birthday trip to the magnificent city of Bristol! Love the place!

From previous, all to brief visits, to the city I went away describing it as the Newcastle of the south.. After this trip its much deeper than that, this city is the Wellington of the UK! A fantastically friendly, outward looking, forward thinking and creative place. 

Here is the view from M-Shed looking north over the Floating Harbour toward the Cathedral and city centre skyline. 

Our wander took in a superb breakfast at Spoke & Stringer, a lovely visit to SS Great Britain, and slow walk around the southern side of harbour via M-shed and Arnolfini finally at the Cathedral. 

The harbour and all its attractions must be one of the UK's most exciting and dynamic urban areas, truly superb! Must return soon!
