Town hall

Today was the launch of the new website for Kendal, www.visit-kendal.co.uk and someone kindly invited me across to the town hall so that I could enjoy the presentation. 

This was actually my second stroll into town of the day; I walked in this morning to have breakfast with my friend Tony. Of course, in the Fitbit-wearing phases of my life, I welcome these opportunities to build up my steps and it transpired that the two return trips into Kendal pretty much gave me my ten thousand steps. 

Of the two events, I did, as you might expect, enjoy the breakfast with Tony a bit more than the presentation but that's not to say that the latter wasn't good, it was, and it was pleasingly well-attended, which is encouraging.
