Take me home!

Loving all these Edinburgh cycle routes.

Today we jumped on a number 38 bus and went to Craigleith Retail Park. Walked along the cycle route all the way to Newhaven and then jumped on a number 11 bus and came home.

The 'Lothian Region Bus App' is amazing. Having spent most of my little collie dog life in Cornwall, I haven't actually been on a great deal of buses. The buses in Cornwall are very few and far between and never seem to go anywhere that we actually want to go.

Living in Edinburgh, one doesn't actually need a car unless you want to go out of the city. The buses are fab.

Today we finished our walk and Ann just looked at the Lothian Region Bus App and clicked, 'Take me home'. We were right by a bus stop, so immediately it popped up, that a number 11 bus was due in 2 mins. But it also told us how far we had to walk to get a number 16 bus and what time that was due. It's soooooo clever.

Just how did humans exist in the days prior to mobile phones?
