Snowdrop season

A short walk around Dunham this morning, mainly using the Bridgewater Canal. We had thought to visit the Winter Garden at Dunham Massey, but there was a huge queue. It's snowdrop season, and half term, so lots of people seem to have decided to visit the garden all at the same time.

So we gave it a miss. No matter - we passed plenty of snowdrops on our walk, and in this garden (or is it a field) lots of purple crocii. Bringing a touch of colour to an otherwise grey, overcast day.
