Bike Repair

My bicycle has once again been in the shop. I took it in about a month ago because I wasn't able to access my lowest gear (which is vital in getting from my apartment to town). It turns out I had somehow lost nut, a very specific nut, and the frame was flexing excessively when I attempted to downshift. Of course, the nut wasn't in stock, nor was it available anywhere in Mexico, so my mechanic performed a typical Mexican work around and snap-tied everything back together so I could keep riding. Many trips to town later the repair is still going strong. I figure I may never need that highly specialized, probably very expensive, nut.
