Owl be there....

A great day out at the Scottish Deer Park with Iain and the SBG.  

None of us had visited before, but all loved it.  Highlights included hand feeding the fallow deer, watching (and hearing) the three wolves being fed, and crunching through the bones of their meat, watching a brown bear jumping up and down (front paws only) on a tree to break off some branches, and the bird of prey display, which saw one of the SBG getting her cheek brushed with the edge of a Harris Hawk's wing, as it flew past her! 

A cracking day out.  

Will definitely be back.  

In the evening it was gin o'clock and a couple of episodes of the new series of Chef's Table.  A Korean monk who lives in a temple and makes temple food, followed by an episode about a hipster Russian chef who makes traditional dishes, including moose lips.  Glad we didn't watch that prior to hanging out with the moose/elks at the Deer Centre earlier in the day!
