hairy bikers

Went to the market early this morning but it was cried off because of RAIN! The first proper rain I've seen since getting here really. I've been trying not to mention this lack of rain too much as I know how bloody wet it's been at home!

Called at the shops on the way to Carrie's and got to hers in time to sort the place for the arrival of the bikers! Caroline and Paddy's friend Gareth is big into motorbiking and him and 7 of his friends are doing a 2-week trip round France and Spain just now. Never did I think I'd see 8 bikers turning out at my sister's house in Entrechaux! We served them tea an homemade jam sponge :)

Auntie Lou and John arrived over to say their goodbyes as they'd decided to leave a couple of days early because of the rain forecast. Sad to see them go, but it'll not be long 'til they're over again.

Carrie, the girls, their wee friend Elula and I then went to the cinema in Vaison in the afternoon. I saw my first 3D film! We were also sitting in the front row - talk about in your face! It was class though and the girls loved it.

Had a really good tea, sat out in the field to try and spot the ISS with Paddy and the girls, but it didn't appear.

Got organised with the gear for the tent and the girls and I slept there for the night! Thank god there were no foxes or wild boars around the tent during the night!
