I don't know what the correct name is for these, but I absolutely love them! Only ever used by really old folk to get out from the village to their smallholding. The old husband will drive and the old wife sits in the back alongside all the paraphernalia that needs to be carted one way or the other. I don't suppose they were always an old persons transport, I imagine it is simply that their proud owners have all grown old. I have no idea the age of the vehicle but I don't suppose we will be seeing these for very many more years to come. A dying breed I suspect.
