Up The Creek With No Canoe

I have been busy today sorting out the crap midden stuff for the window fitters.
It doesn't help when you have no idea where they are going to start so you can't move around them.
SWMBO was out for lunch - I had a pate sandwich!

Got a phone call from No1 son late afternoon ....... there would appear to be a slow burning soot fire in their chimney.
The heating has been shut off and isolated and there is no dangerous fumes - just nasty smelling ones.
Ray of sunshine and Butterfly are heading for a hotel for the night to avoid the smell. No1 son has to stay in the house in case anything happens (the insurance wouldn't cover them if anything did happen and they had left the place empty knowing there might be a problem).
Hopefully things will be cleaned and rectified tomorrow.
