Rhododendron bud

I spotted this rhododendron budding in the same car park as I found the ivy leaves which provided yesterday's blip!  I have noticed it in previous years and always surprised at how early it flowers.  

This morning I was up early for a spin class and then a pilates class at the gym.  Then home to a mammoth pile of ironing which was made easier by watching the athletics on the TV.  

We've been out this evening for a delicious curry at our favourite Indian restaurant in the village.  It was very badly affected by the floods 15 months ago and was closed for about 9 months.  It was pleasing to see it very busy this evening and as popular as ever.
