In the footsteps

What a lovely long sleep! Woke at 8.55 and got up at 10.30. Fantastic. Then a 40 minute walk to Tower Hamlets local history library. I didn't find out much I couldn't have done by using Ancestry.com in Edinburgh but finding out my 2 x great grandmother was born in Chapel Lane, now White Chapel Lane a stone's throw from where I am staying was amazing. I feel like I'm following in her footsteps here, Melbourne and Porty.

My thighs protested after yesterday's stair climbing. Baklava for lunch or breakfast in Spitalfields then back to the Hub for a coffee. Now off meet H at Charing Cross. I'm lucky to have so many friends to catch up with.
