Sal D'espolla
I mentioned in my entry of 14th Feb how rainwater is sucked into the estates and emerges as a torrent elsewhere in the area . One such location is Sal D'espolla, a natural area of limestone where the water gushes over channels and rocks after heavy rainfall. In typical Spanish fashion it is a site visited by many but not well catered for in terms of ease of accessibility or regard for human wellbeing as it is slippery, muddy, rocky and treacherous.
